Mark’s Endings in Context: Paratexts and Codicological Remarks

This article addresses the problem of perception Mark’s endings as expressed in its manuscript tradition. I will argue that, unlike modern standardized image, evidence offers a complex phenomenon which were perceived diverse ways that move across threshold separates text from paratexts. Further, manuscripts show an influence between and their associated this by examining (i) hypotheses before Gospel, (ii) marginalia engaged Mark 16, (iii) postscripts after Gospel. In conclusion, recommends revisiting standard “endings” within larger paratextual ecosystem.
